Support > Event Creator > Items and Admission Tickets

Control when a ticket can be scanned and whether someone can leave and come back. Blank means no restriction.

On each ticket item you can set:

  • Ticket Scan Opens and Ticket Scan Closes - the window during which the ticket may be scanned at all. A scan outside it is refused and the ticket is not used up, so the holder can still use it at the right session.
  • Allow Reentry and Reentry Deadline - whether a ticket can be scanned again after the holder leaves, and until when.

Leaving the scan window empty means there is no scanning restriction on that ticket - it can be scanned at any time, which is how tickets behaved before this setting existed. It does not fall back to your event dates. Set both boxes if you need a single-session ticket to be refused on the wrong day.

The window is set per ticket type, not per event, so a Saturday session ticket and a weekend pass can have different windows.

All of these need a date and a time (for example 03/14/2026 08:00 AM). A date on its own would mean midnight at the start of that day, which is already expired for the whole event. The boxes add the slashes, the colon and the AM or PM as you type the digits.

The reentry deadline cannot be later than the scan close time - nobody can be readmitted once scanning has stopped.

These times are judged in your event's time zone.
