Every new event is reviewed by MeetMaker before it appears publicly. Here is what happens and how long it takes.
When you save a new event it is created with a status of Pending. It is not yet visible on the public event lists and nobody can register for it.
- MeetMaker reviews the event, usually within one business day.
- You receive a New Event Listing email confirming we have it.
- Once approved you receive an Event Listing Approved email, and the event appears on the Events pages and is open for registration on your registration open date.
If something is unclear or missing we contact you using the event contact details before approving.
You can keep editing the event while it is pending, and after approval. Edits do not send it back for re-approval.
