You reserve on the USA Gymnastics website first. The reservation then arrives in MeetMaker for you to complete and pay.
For a meet run from a USA Gymnastics sanction, you do not register in MeetMaker first. You create a
reservation on the USA Gymnastics website, and that reservation is sent to MeetMaker for you to finish and pay for.
If you click Register Now on one of these meets before you have reserved, MeetMaker does not show your
roster. It shows a Reservation Required page with a button through to the USA Gymnastics Reservation
System. That is not an error - it is the start of the process.
- Open the event and click Register Now, then use the USA Gymnastics Reservation System button
(or go to the USA Gymnastics website directly) and create your reservation there.
- Come back to MeetMaker and open Alerts in the top menu. Your reservation is listed there. Allow a little
time after reserving - it is not instant.
- Click Process. MeetMaker adds the gymnasts and coaches from the reservation to your roster for you and
opens the registration page with them already selected.
- Fill in anything the event asks for - size, division, comments - then continue, add teams and items if offered,
and pay.
You are not registered until you have paid and have a confirmation number, exactly as for any other entry.
Do not add the gymnasts to your roster by hand and register them separately. Processing the reservation does
both for you, and doing it yourself as well is what creates duplicate entries.
If your reservation never appears on Alerts, two things have to be true: the event director must have chosen
MeetMaker as the registration processing company on the sanction, and your club USA Gymnastics number must be on
your MeetMaker account. See My reservation has not arrived in MeetMaker.
International teams that have no access to the USA Gymnastics Reservation System are the one exception.
Where the event director has allowed it, the Reservation Required page carries a separate International Team
Registration button that bypasses the reservation system. Every other club is required to reserve.
