This article is for meets that are not sanctioned by USA Gymnastics. On a meet built from a USA Gymnastics sanction there is no Scratch button in MeetMaker - see Scratching an athlete on a USA Gymnastics sanctioned meet.

Open the registration from My Events, find the athlete and choose Scratch, then save.

Scratching removes them from the event. It does not automatically refund the entry fee - refunds are at the event director's discretion and are processed by them. Contact the director if you believe a refund is due.

A scratched athlete stays on your roster and can be entered in other events as normal.
