Where the meet accepts petitions or alternates, each gymnast on a reservation has its own Petition or Alternate button on the Alerts page, next to that gymnast.

Use it to send that one athlete through as a petition or alternate. The rest of the reservation is left untouched and can still be handled with the normal Process button afterwards.

• The registration type is already decided by the button you clicked, so you are not asked again.
• The entry goes to the event director to approve or decline. At checkout your card takes only a small temporary authorization, not the full fee - you are charged when the director approves.
• You are emailed when the decision is made. A declined entry is not charged.

The buttons only appear on gymnast rows, and only for meets that allow petitions or alternates.
